EXTRA SCIENCE LESSON

It is our intention to run an additional science lesson on 28th February with Y10 in preparation for module tests that week.

To facilitate this, 10x, instead of going to their English lesson period A will go to the science teacher / room that they usually go to during period E.

10y, instead of going to their English lesson period B will go to their science teacher / room that they usually go to period C.

Lights, Camera, Action and the Tea Party!!!

I am very proud of all the year 10’s that took part in Lights Camera Action and the Tea Party. Both events were fantastic and all pupils gave exceptional performances. Well done!!! Looking forward to Back to the 80’s in April and the Easter Bunny Bop at the Metrodome!

Notice for Parents/carers and pupils

All pupils are required to attend Work Experience on Friday 18 Feb. Any absence will be recorded on pupil registers in school as unauthorised absence unless clear reasons are provided by parent/carer.

Your Y10 tutors would love to know how you are getting on at your Work Experience placements. Please post comments, with your name, about how things are going, best thing so far, feelings, hopes, the food (for Ripper, Tubber and Jakey Boy in 10L), the welcome you have received and, of course, the WORK!!!!! Have fun..........

Work Experience Booklets

All work exprience booklets should have been distributed during form time.
Make sure you fill in your details and browse through the booklet before you go off on Work Experience. You will need to take the booklet with you to work as there are some important Health and Safety documents to be completed and you should also keep a diary of your experience. The booklet also explains what to do if you are ill or going to be late.
Please see Miss Daykin in the WRL office if you have not received a booklet.

ASSEMBLY Thursday 3rd February

Assembly as usual, South Hall. There will be a Health and Safety talk following on from assembly in relation to your Work Experience.
